A famous supermodel walks into a bar and says "I want a drink that'll wake me up and F@#K me up!" Bartender Dick Bradsell christens "The Espresso Martini"
It’s the 1980s; An unnamed famous supermodel walks into a bar and makes the following demand. She says “I want a drink that will wake me up and F@#K me up!” Bartender and British mixologist Dick Bradsell makes the cocktail that he eventually christens “The Espresso Martini”
We might never know which supermodel it was that walked into the bar that fateful day at the Soho Brasserie (urban legend says it was Kate Moss) but what we do know is that the original name, The Vodka Espresso or Espresso Vodka, doesn’t roll off the tongue as nicely as The Espresso Martini!
Howdy. I’m Chris Harris. One of the writers here at Cocktail Hammer. I have a passion for all things food, wine, and mixology. When I’m not I’m behind the bar or writing for this awesome blog, you can find me riding my bike all across New York City.
