Maragato Cocktail

Add this one to your list of rum cocktails. The maragato is a simple cocktail for the vermouth enthusiast that prefers both dry and sweet in their drink.

All we know is “Maragato” is a term that refers to people from the Maragatería region in Spain, but it is unclear why it is named after this region or its people. It may have been created by a bartender who was inspired by the flavors and ingredients commonly used in the Maragatería region, but the origin of the name is not known for certain.
