  3. 3 oz Champagne
  4. 1 oz Pineapple juice
  5. 2 Fresh pineapple wedges

This drink was created at Chasen’s, a famed Hollywood restaurant that debuted in 1936 and was a favorite of movie stars and aristocracy until it closed in 1995. The original Chasen’s star-studded clientele enjoyed beverages concocted by famed bartender Pepe Ruiz during its peak.

The Flame of Love is his most renowned invention, partially because it was initially designed for Dean Martin. Dean dragged his old chum Frank Sinatra to Chasen’s to test the drink, adding to the mythology of the cocktail. According to legend, Frank was so pleased that he ordered one for everyone in the establishment.
